Run time: 88 min. | United Kingdom | Language: English
A fictional account based on real events and filmed entirely on covert surveillance and CCTV cameras, WMD pieces together the story of Alex, an ordinary MI6 desk officer, who discovers deliberate flaws in the evidence being gathered to invade Iraq. In an attempt to expose the truth Alex finds himself drawn into a shadowy and dangerous world. Will he have the courage to expose the truth? Would you...? The first film to consider Iraq since the recent U.S. elections, WMD paints a chilling portrait of how democratically elected leaders, when left unchecked, can use their power to change the global landscape forever. “In times of universal deceit, telling the truth becomes a revolutionary act” – George Orwell

Great idea and very atmospheric low/no budget film, with some genuine moments where the division between reality and fiction is blurred.
